What are the general difference between Isuzus and Mitsubishi trucks?

what are the specific differences between Isuzu elf and mitsibishi Canter (HD or Guts)?

differences in terms of

-prices
-How often parts are changed
-Relative price of parts
-frequency of breakdowns (if any)

-Fuel Consumption
-any other notable difference

@TOKYO,
I find the information that you've supplied a bit incorrect. I have been shopping for a truck and i have a few facts that i have gathered. (Actually i have visited both GM and Simbacolt motors)and tried to talk to a few drivers who do the job.
- Canters(Mitsubishi's) are better of the rough kenyan roads
- Mitsubishi's are actually more expensive than Isuzu and its variant(ELF)
-I am not sure but isuzu may have a better fuel economy
-Mitsubishi can carry much more load than GVW recommednded by manufacturer. Isuzu's will struggle to take extra load.
-Isuzu has more spares distributors country wide than mistsubishi but almost comparably
The only time you should be looking down on others is when you are helping them up.

Elf(s) have an edge over Mitsubishi HD, though unpopular;

Elf(s) have greater pay loads than Mitsubishi. Interestingly, if the pay load is increased toward an overload, Mitsubishi tend to consume more.
In term of terms of maintainability,it depend on whether you are going for new or secondhand.

somebody told me that 'canter za siku hizi' have something like an electronic/computerised fuel injection mechanism (not quite sure what they were talking aobut), so apparently this thing often or most likely get damaged and you'd have to replace it for like 150K.

So, you have to replace it with a local/old version of the same . and now the car will start consuming even more.

somebody with more info about this, please expound, and is this the same with Isuzu
