Orange has now joined the money transfer business....their system will be using the Equity banking software platform.

Haven't tested the system, but it seems to me that Orange know their business. Pulling big distributors away from Safaricom is the best move they can make in these competitive times.

Ithink distribution of points of transaction is key. superior technology is no big advantage, can be copied. safcom with its subscriber base has all the advantage.

But perhaps someone could target higher end bank accounts- wonder whether they would make meaningfull "commission sense".
