It will be cracked sooner than later. I see huge demand coming in and supply thinning out. May be in a couple of weeks we will be well past 23

Yes,23 will be a threshold for sometime..many small time buyers are selling..But once it breaks,i foresee a high of 27.50 by Jan

South Sudan is more a systemic risk (in my opinion) as it affects all investors, not just KCB. My bigger concern would be how much KCB is exposed to SS as opposed to other listed investors there, Ekuete to be specific. I don't think KCB does segment reporting based on countries, it would be interesting to know the numbers.

But you have to agree that 19 would be a juicy spot, considering the 12B war chest.

Only a small of the income is derived from outside kenya, i dont expect much impact on the share price.

KCB will actually benefit from the halt of its sudan business because it is currently making substantial losses there

KCB dips below 22.50 with supply more than 10 times demand.
Could we be headed back to sub 21 levels?

We are unlikely to go to sub 21 levels, the demand will be so huge. The foreigners are yet to make a comeback to this counter. Once they do, it will be over 25

If I am not wrong, supply at 23 was about 1 million at the close, while demand was at 22.25.

I would not say a million shares of KCB is huge. I wish it were like 10 million shares, then the price would drop to a level where I could buy in again!

Good thing
about financials is they keep pace with calender..reporting period for 3rd Qt is gone..so attention moves elsewhere till january..

i remember back in 2001-2004..tracking them..feb and september used to be pick season..little has changed now..picks moving from sept to mid/end oct..and mid march...seems investor profile changed..currently u got to see to belive..

I was at mind speak and i heard MOO himself being all out bullish on KCB...ja it's a good stock...i would certainly buy it but like Safaricom too much liquidity can keep a stock down
