Don't see this degenerate into a PEV, hawana tribalism to our level, but heard asubuhi that opposition has taken some seats in central TZ...ni kubaya! looks like finally opposition politics in TZ is picking up, sio ati CCM is the front-runner kila siku.

IT MAY NOT BE AS BAD AS OURS BUT CONSIDERING THE ustaarabu that we klnow this people exhibit, it looks ugly. anyway kikwete was poised to win. i wonder what the opposition is thinking. African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'

@Yesu wako, But dont you remember that the Zanzibari 1964 revolution was led by one John Okello? Great men are not always wise, neither do the aged understand judgement...

....and in case the situation goes out of control, we could send our president to go and cut a peace deal...just like kikwete did... ...besides, the presence of a safe alone does not signify that there is money inside...

Hope ndugu Mrisho Kikwetu will be ensure violence doesn't escalate like Kibs did. Lots of tanzanians, esp the young ones, think he and his cronies are corrupt. In uganda, M7 has ominously removed term limits meaning he is preso forever (they ara carringi it pakalast in Kpla), and given he is deeply unpopular esp among the buganda and other communities who believe he and his absolutely corrupt cronies are busy plundering uganda, then this could be dangerous for the country's future since only natural death - not ballot - can remove him from the presidency. It is the stuff coups are made of, but then again he has a tight grip on his UPDF soldeirs

Heard the theory that Kikwete didn't necessarily come here through his own conviction...si uliona Rice visited TZ first b4 Kikwete made his way to kenya...he came to pass a message, and baks had to comply..i'm just saying
