Now if you work out of town and get a job offer in town, salary negotiations must also take care of parking fees, huh!!!!

Isn't this supposed to be approved by the Local Govt Minister before implementation... and 100% increase! How madder can ODM councillors get? This is the problem - we are being led by pinheads who've no clue about the job they are doing expect holding PhDs in throwing punches and bad mouthing.

Decongestion is the 'excuse'...

Am I the only one who misses John Gakuo... who gave us service for money...

Why do we keep on paying more for lousy service. I pay for water but taps only run for three days, sewers that are burst, garbage collection but still pay a private collector, parking for slots that are not enough and secure. Surely, i should be able to fire my mayor...

you pay for the water you use and not the guarantee for running water in the taps.
African parents don't know how to say sorry.. the closest you will get to a sorry is a 'have you eaten'

My sentiments exactly. Welcome to the African New York!!! In New York you have to negotiate even for a [reserved] parking space!!

@McReggae - You also have to give room for future unilateral increments!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

I think KARA (Kenya Alliance of Resident Associations) should go on with their threat to take these blind folks to court!

Just wondering, what about the other towns, will they follow? e.g. Kakamega, Nakuru, Kisumu...

I thank God for accessible net and at much more favourable prices unlike the past so i dont have to do town any more. i jus need to telecommunte. That saves me sooo much on fuel, parking, traffic hussle plus i son't have to develop ulcers every day at the thought of traffic when it nears 5pm.
If u dont have to do town, pls keep off.Lets deny this lazy guys revenue. For those that have to, i wish that all goes well n their dream to milk u further remains jus that, a pipe dream!
