Digital Camera Repair

Does anyone know of a place I can take my digital camera(Canon) for repair? it fell and the zoom lens cannot retract/extend due to the impact.

PLEASE ASSIST.Pray

Ouch!
Try Elite Camera shop ground floor, Kimathi Hse, directly opposite The Stanley entrance. Don't get your hopes up though - they could not fix mine. Good luck!

am sure it can be repair nothing difficult abt it as i had the same problem & got it done down in mombasa. am looking for an olympus screen for my digi if u come across..

The Elite Camera shop opposite stanley works well, they repaired mine with similar problem but what I paid was almost enough to buy another relatively priced digital camera or a "very powerful" film based camera.....

Is it a Hasselblad camera? If not, just buy a new one.

Try elite camera. they 'fixed' my Canon but like someone said, they dont come cheap. Some corrupt technicians will get your contact and ask you to pay 'kitu kidogo but the flip side is that there are no guarantees should you need a repeat job. howevernote there is no authorised canon repairer in town.

Digicams are disposable...throw it away and get a nice new one!
