The share price for EQUITY has not had any excitement we have witnessed in Coop, DTK and HF. Could that be a reflection of the expected performance?d'oh!

Great results from Equity Bank. Profit after tax up to 5.125billion from 3.384billion last year. Great stuff!

This means Equity Bank is the highest bank in term of net profits this year because already KCB and BBK profits are below what Equity Bank have reported.

These are great results and this shows why thinking outside the box is king. It shows that as a bank, if you collect deposits only to play the T bills game, you will loose big time.

Go equity go. Lets now become the biggest bank in east and central africa in terms of:-
-Market capitalisation.
-Biggest lender.
-Bank with largest number of accounts.
-Biggest profit after and before tax.

KCB PBT of 6.51B
Just the start of things to come. Barclays is next. These guys know how to maximize on returns on assets with a B.S of 136B as compared to KCB's B.S of 244B.

I think Equity will definitely take Barc in the next 12 months in the PBT race as Ug has now reached breakeven point.
