If you really want to tarnish your name and morals.............Try defending somebody caught with a prostitute. Surely SAF can't be blamed for rooney's transgression.

Ric dees/TAZ,Don't be cheated about the ambition thing, it is greed all the way, he can't believe that Yaya Toure, a midfielder is earning 200K plus across the town, it is money orchestrated by his agent!!!!

As concerns Man Utd's ambitions, see the below quotes:
"As metaphors goes, it was about as memorable as Eric Cantona's "seagulls follow the trawler" story, though and it was accompanied by Ferguson's revelation that a lack of belief in his judgement in the transfer market had once persuaded a player – possibly Roy Keane – to leave because he thought Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo were not good enough. "He was not prepared to wait until they were good enough," Ferguson said.

"But that's the trouble with potential," he went on. "People don't identify potential. They're very poor at it. I've identified it all my life – the potential in young people. I know potential. I know how to develop and have faith in young people, who surprise you when given the opportunity and that's what this club is all about. When you see Manchester United at the moment with all these young players, 14 under 22, you can't see Manchester United three years ahead."

McReggae....MONEY is what brought Rooney to Old Trafford, otherwise I'm sure he would have loved to stay at his old club, Everton.

And there is the morale of the story....

Its all ok when SAF goes poaching with cash, but when he gets his "boys" poached, oh its all about respect blah blah blah

WTF did this poko patia rooney? akili imeruka tayari! ama he needs more cash to support his philandering life?

Anyway, I think it is going to Man Shitty (@200+ thousands per week), and what a combination with Tevez! I await a Manchester Derby...

I hope he doesn't regret (did i hear Adebayor)........

Did you just marvel at the Rooney-Tevez combination???...who becomes king....remember Tevez is the current captain, Roo believes he the best striker.......their style just too similar.....changing room will explode at shittyShame on you !!!!

TAZ, agree it has always been about money, only there is a better way of doing it!!!!

Can we put this to rest already!

There is a 90% chance Rooney will leave Man - U before the end of the season but as I have been asking all along, so what? Some here started supporting Man - U when Rooney was still in diapers! Rooney can leave and any part time Man U supporters can leave with him!

The club will make their final decision know latest tomorrow. Let's wait for that.

Actually, the more important discourse I'd rather we are having is: When are the Glazers leaving?
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

McDoba, that combi should prove good with financial motivation. Roo ndio atakuwa mgeni, and with an expected wage like that, he better lie low like an envelope...Yeye ni jogoo kwa brothelsmile At Man-Ugu, one must have been looked down upon despite the skills. In case he moves and their is a Manchester Derby, i'll return, na nitakuwa na airtime ya kuongea hapa!!

Kama Rooney waenda nenda mapema, you are not bigger than Man u. So don't start dishing your tantrums about Man u not being ambitious, there will be other better players than your, do remember Beck's, Ronaldo, RVN and the rest where at OT too. Good riddance Man U for life.

Do people expect Man Utd fans to come here celebrating and hero wroshpping Rooner for leaving....come on guys!!!!....the Adebayor saga is still fresh in our minds!!!

Maichblack, I echo your sentiments....the glazers should just get lost, the Red Knights just went underground, seems the value of United is too big for them!!!

Its very interesting to see a certain very well known Liverpool fan in this forum now declaring he is chelsea damu.

Soccer turn-coats will never cease to amaze. Did anybody else notice? If your team is battling relegation, stick with it or keep quiet forever.

No single player is bigger than the club he plays for....but i don't think Rooney leaving is a good thing for the club. When you keep losing your top players it makes it very hard to convince the likes of Sneijder, Messi, Villa etc to sign for you. You don't want to lose your top players just when they are at the peak of their careers.

Wenger sold our top players (Henry, Pires, Viera, Overmars, Wiltord, Anelka, Reyes etc) just because he thought the players we had then had potential to win more trophies.

@TAZ.............Man U is NOT selling Rooney, its Rooney who wants to be sold. As a club what do you do under such circumstances?

Without supporting Roo's prostitutional activities, I think that SAF did not support the lad through the media lynching that occurred after the revelations. Ashley cole and Terry seem to have received better cover from their club and manager. Maybe, Roo should join his 'mates' at the bridge. Karibu sana.

SAF seems to be preparing a team that will dominate in the next three years...from remarks that 'When you see Manchester United at the moment with all these young players, 14 under 22, you can't see Manchester United three years ahead'. I guess Roo wants trophies now not three years down the line.

This is just a thought maybe Rooney has projected into the future and seen that will all that debt that Man Utd has it may go into management crisis as liverpool so the best thing for him is to leave with his head held high after he won many cups while at Man Utd..........Just a thought
