McReggae/Guka/mwenza: I wouldn't be too bothered if Rooney left. He has been rubbish since March this year. That notwithstanding, he is a talented player and will surely (hopefully?) get off this slump sooner rather than later.

But if some of the rumours being peddled around are true, for example that Madrid would be willing to pay £60 million plus Benzema, if I were Fergie, I would snap off their hands ASAP. With the £60m, United can rebuild with a new midfield and Berbatov with Benzema and Chicharito upfront. Question is whether the £60 million would be fully applied to rebuilding considering the current state of finances!

But like Roy Keane advised the boy Rooney, he needs to put his own interests first. If he feels that the relationship with Fergie is irreparably damaged, then he should leave as soon as he can. Where will Rooney go and be idolised as he is at United? Man City - Fat chance! Madrid - They will crucify him as soon as he hits his usual purple patch! In these two teams, he will be just another fish in a big pond! Maybe Italy!

I also agree, Rooney has being quite of not use in the last few matches.

He can leave. He has done enough for Man U

Futhermore, Man u have got Berbatov and other good strikers to replace him.

But for real, rooney has being affected by the scandal that he had.

Some of this thing that people do , there is no way you can get away with it

Things are getting thicker.....Man Shitty front runners to sign our poy!!!!!.....it's all about money, the boy is looking at the 150K his being offered by United albeit reluctantly as compared to 250K per week he would get from Shitty.....coupled with his differences with SAF....he may opt for the moola!!!!

Wayne Rooney is not a product of Man Utd football Academy, he was signed from Everton (2004) for £25.6 million which at that time was a lot of money to spend on such a young player. He had already played for England (Euro 2004)before joining Man Utd and given his arrogance i don't think this young man gives a **** what SAF thinks of him. It will not be hard for him to leave Man Utd should he get a better offer.

Real Madrid have declared they've no interest in signing Rooney plus i don't think Mourinho would sell Benzema and give a further £60 million. I think Man City might as well sign him.....his family won't have to move anywhere and a deal of £300,000 per week looks very attractive.

Whats even more interesting is that Under the Webster ruling, Wayne Rooney can terminate his contract next summer under Fifa transfer regulations that would see Manchester United receive only £5m in return

I totally agree with Roy Keane, Rooney should put his interests first. At the end of the day, that's what will count.

Anyways sale of Rooney proceeds will go to paying interest at 14.25% and prob some "management fees" to Glazer family for helping screw Man U so properly.

Interesting times at Old Trafford, question is has there been a shift in the balance of power?? In the last 10-15 years the premier league has been dominated by Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal & Chelsea in that order and no doubt the Yanks have have dealt a deadly blow on the teams wearing red..that said i don't think there is a balance of power yet BUT other teams have stepped up namely Man City, Tottenham, Fulham etc.

I think Rooney and his advisers have seen the writing on the wall, they don't think Man U can be competitive enough now or indeed in the future to compete with the Mob (read Real) Man City and Chelsea. So they very well know who will butter their bread better!!

Is it the end of Fergie as a master statistician? to early to call but the unthinkable is happening a section of the media think and indeed Ol Trafford faithful think that maybe it's time the Scot toook one last final bow however note Man u has not played any team in the top 4 all others have and this will be a huge test for them and they know it and if they loose ( i don't see them coming out of this unscathed)then the cat calls will begin rem you are only as good as your leader..Fergie time is up.

Liverpool, sad,sad..Bill Shankly will surely turn in his grave..body language, desire, everything is just not right. Why is Torres not playing well?? Torres is fit make no mistake, however he does not want to get a knock, injury basically he is riding with the team till Jan, destination Real Madrid, Mourinho interested in Rooney No...please note only big team coaches are speaking bout Rooney (Carlo, Mourinho, Wenger)..all psychological warfare, anything to gain an advantage and guess what it's working.

October 2003 the mighty Leads were 5th from bottom and had exactly the same points as Liverpool have now and guess what they went down.(Leads was a big team in UK) Roy Hodgson will go down in History as taking down the most successful club in England...Roy your time is up as well!!

The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.

I think Fergie should cash in on Rooney in January given the risk of getting only £5m at the end of the season.....but the question is will the Glaziers allow him to use the proceeds to sign an equally top class striker with the financial situation at the club!

This could be a ploy to gain an upper hand in the negotiations on his new contract with the team. If and when everything concerning his new contract is sorted out to his liking, he will talk to some reporters dismissing the 'rumours' and pledging his future to the club. Rio did it, Vidic did it and the outcome was favourable to them. Why not Rooney? He has been pledging his future to Man U all along knowing there is Money Shitty and Real. What has fundamentally changed? Strain of the relationship between him and SAF? Is that enough to make him pack his bags? I doubt.

On the flip side, this could be real and he might be on his last season in Man - U. If that is the case, so what? I would not like to imagine that any one individual is greater than the team. If he leaves, all we can do is wish him well and thank him for his service at the team. Then we go on. I have be supporting Man U for eons and I have seen great players come and go. I almost fainted when Beckham was sold. Roy Keane was also a shocker. The list goes on. Who still misses CR? A good player he was, a good job he did, many a goal he scored but he could never have been allowed to bigger than the team! Ni hiyo tu.

The boss finally speaks. This could be more serious than it seems. The boy might actually be on his way out. Leave on not, I don't think we should be preoccupied with him. We've been scoring goals since march - the last time he scored in open play!

The press especially in Britain is full of the Wayne Rooney story. Are they talking about the prostitute scandal? Nope!!! They are talking about the possible exit from Man U. What if this whole story is orchestrated to kill the prostitute story? SAF has been known to play mind games with fellow managers to achieve an upper hand. Is it beyond him to organize what is going on to give one of his star players a break from the the prostitute story?

This is a big if/maybe but it is possible. Then again, I might just be over thinking.

Maybe some other hooker he has slept with is threatening to talk to press and told him to leave the club if she has to keep her mouth shut. Maybe

Whats the big stink about Rooney leaving? man u are on the way down with scholes, giggs, van der sarr, neville etc finished and he wants a change. my money is on Ajax or Hamburg. I hear they have red light districtsLaughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

or Roo is tired of playing for the type of team that loses a 2 goal lead to west brom at home..please Sir Alex, sell Rooney and buy SUAREZ, to stop some of the goals.....and keep change
