The answer is that gays did not choose to be gay just as the rest of us did not choose to be heterosexual. It just so happens that is the way we are; and the way they are.

Being gay is not a choice an individual makes suddenly, it is a series of wrong choices made over time.
No one is born a smoker, all smokers begin by forcing their lungs to accept a horrible substance that is totally at odds with nature because they have been influenced by a false portrayal of a smoker as this cool suave with it individual.
Being gay is similar. The media has a big role in popularizing this as acceptable behavior, the young teenager raised by the mboch and the telly will because of curiosity experiment to determine weather he/she falls in that category.
.... Just like the smoker.
This experimenting will lead develop in the individual an appetite for this kind of perversion.... just like the smoker.
Eventually the individual will not be able to help him/herself...
He She will then DEMAND that society accept this behavior and support it by providing health care when the due penalty for this perversion finds residence in the individual.
This is how ALL, deviant behavior develops, why do you imagine that somehow being gay is different ?
