Uchumi supermarket shares! could this be a sleeping giant ready to roarApplause . BW the management under Ciano is sound as EPS has risen from 0.53 to 4.81 in a span of three years.

Does anyone have the foggiest idea when Uchumi shares will start trading in the NSE? Any NSE insiders at all who know how Uchumi's application to be allowed back are going? i would really appreciate the info ...
Don't gamble; take all your savings and buy some good stock and hold it till it goes up, then sell it. If it don't go up, don't buy it...

Uchumi has a bad name in the nse,let them get a partner,re-brand and come back

I think this was in the past, 2005 to be precise. According to me (and for 2010), Uchumi looks to be on the right track. I think even a very bad name can be redeemed and i hope the NSE thinks the same ...

Rebranding would only be necessary for marketing purposes, not investment; but as it is, the company has been accepted by shoppers....
