@Winston,
A life well lived?....I doubt the guy ever left his Limuru backyard.

@Njung'e, I know you love travelling and seeing new places but it's not everyone's cup of tea. You therefore can't use it to judge how well everyone lived his life.

RIP Muguku. Truly an inspirational man to anyone who wants to be successful through the good old way - hard work and brains.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Kirima's estate is worth about Ksh. 700 Million.....Muguku is estimated to be worth 3 - 5 Billion. I'm sure there's enough for everyone.

@TAZ - It's not about "enough for everyone". It's all about greed. Kirima's wealth is "enough for everyone". The problem is that everyone wants everything. If his wealth was subdivided equitably, 'everyone' would get approx. 40 - 50 million!! How many wazuans are worth that much? Hands please. But you get guys asking themselves "Why 'settle' for 50m when I can get 700m?". It wont be long before a fellow from Muguku's family asks himself/herself "Why 'settle' for 500m when I can get the whole 5B?". Greed my friend, greed!!! One of the worst vices.

The guy was not all that tight with money as many are saying. I thought he had invested in education for the young boys from his area.

The fight is never about about distribution, it about who should not get. Believe me even with an iron tight will there will be a fight here unless he took measures to educate his sons and daughters and handed them shares and directorship of his estates and not monies. Good examples are the Nyaga and Ndegwa families.

BBI will solve it

vanity of vanities.
The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.
