The Yen is very strong against the world majors at the moment, hence car prices have gone up by around $500-$1000. The Japanese govt has recently put in place fiscal and monetary policies to try and weaken the yen, so if you can wait for a few months for the policies to work and the yen to drop, you will save some money.
