Dear Wazua forum members

Wondering if anyone can assist with information in respect of the following matter - a group I belong to planned to put up 18 modern townhouses in Garden Estate Nairobi, each sitting on 0.25 acres instead of the mandatory 0.5acres. The City Council refuses to approve, even though its been granted to others. The development is well researched with all facilities taken care, and we see the City refusal as unreasonable. Does anyone know someone who can assist without having to ask for a bribe?

Wasn't the Ombudsman lamenting last year that they had no power to act on complaints? The thing is a joke.

@Mwene - if the mandatory acreage is 0.5 acres, why do you want to do 0.25 acres? I am sure that there is a reason why it is 0.5 and not 0.25. To allow you to do that would be promoting impunity.

Oh, the fact that others have it doesn't make it right. In fact someone else should fight so that the 0.25 acre houses are merged back to 0.5 acres.

Really, this is where we go wrong as a country. We don't want to do things the right way, and when someone enforces the law, we want to go round that person (without bribing) :)

@Mwene

Unajifanya umeokoka? You are very useless. Use 0.5 if that is what the regulations there demand. You are more corrupt than the Kanjuras. Where I come from, an evil thought is worse than the action itself.

{This is where I will get into trouble}. I have a problem with the way MAJORITY of Kenyans reason, in a loop sided way or with short term projection. Sample these.

This guy gets a windfall, goes to a bar, buys friends and barmaids drinks mpaka che and withing a week, he is back to borrowing money or drinking on credit.

Wanjiru is more recognized and appreciated in Japan than in his mother country where he has brought gold medals. Hata neighbours do not consider him to be a hero. Heroes are those who loot the biggest amount of money and vie for elections.

It is okay to take Ruto to the hague but baba jimmy should be allowed to retire peacefully cauze he brought a new constitution (The guy actually had a bonfire put under his ass all this time by one Obama to ensure reforms take place before he dies).

Ruto is only a very tiny part of the jigsaw that needs to be rebuilt and sentences ranging from 15yrs to 65yrs being dished out generously to one UK, the rattler, FB, Kibor, Baba J, RO, and all those who contributed in anyway {including me as I bankrolled ODM campaigns knowing the money would be channeled elsewhere}...

Scangroup shooting to the stars when I bought them at 35, sold at 28 and now are at 75. Something does not add up here.

I suspect Maziwa ya Nyayo has something to do with our warped thinking.
Go overdrive in purchasing the goods when there's blood on the streets, expecially if the blood is your own

Well, the truth is that if 0.5 acre is what is required, pls go by that. You may bribe your way thro at NCC but the residents will NOT let this go thro. These days, things are different. You can treat this advise as very reliable....Ridgeways &
Garden estate residents association will not allow this... Again this is very valuable advise offered for free. Save your money!
