Thanks Pkoli, please can you give me the address and description of African Alliance brokers and possibly a contact person and phone number ?
How far is their office from Kampala Road in the city center ?

Hope I am not asking too much??

I will like to use them as my Ug stockbrokers when I visit Uganda next year by Gods grace to open a CDSC account.

I was thinking of Crane Stockbrokers I think it is better to stick to your choice.
African Alliance is a bigger and more expereienced organisation.

For the interest of other Wazuarians that reside in Kenya, I believe African Alliance Nairobi can facilitate opening of USE CDSC account without travelling there.
my friend Pkoli, please confirm ???

Thanks and Regards

No worries Mzee Young,

Here is the contact:
African Alliance Uganda
Grace Semakula +256 414 253 753/4 semakulag@africanalliance.co.ug
William Nyakatura +256 414 253 753/4 nyakaturaw@africanalliance.co.ug

Call either Grace or William (both are men). I have met Grace and he is a very good guy.

The Kenyan Office can facilitate your openning the CDS account in Uganda. They will require you to complete the forms then they deliver to Ugandan offices.

@young - The AA Uganda office is in Kampala City Centre. Walking distance from many banks, hotels & offices.

Rwenzori House

Off Kampala Road, Kampala Uganda.

Please use google to get their phone contact or better still get from USE website as below

D&B do a terrific job. I use them both personally and through our fund. I know a great broker there who travels frequently to kenya. Infact, he is coming next week to Nai so you could talk to him more. he is called Peter Okoed(He is kenyan!). Incase you need to meet him, i can give him your contacts and he meets you while there.
His number is +256702495095. email is pokoed@dyerandblair.com
So you can drop him one and he'll be sure to help in so many ways.

As. a non resident foreigner I will go for African Alliance rather than D & B Uganda.
Their antecedent in Kenya do not encourage non resident foreign investors.
Besides AA is a big investment house with presence in most African countries, it has been tested in both Kenya & Uganda, so it can be trusted.
