...and there are always journalists on tow. Seems a strong warning is being sent to givers and receivers. Maybe giving /receiving bribes has to be done in more 'complex' ways to avoid being busted. Kudos KACC, more big fish please...

He was still in denial that he was caught. Trying to put up a defiant front.

Was on TV. Go to You Tube and search for Kanjora captured at what he knows best to do.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPNpmgROYgY

The Kanjora was trying to put a brave face as he knew the cameras were rolling. It was not a sign of impunity. I know these guys better.

By the way, how does the media know when to be there? In other words, KACA knows where corruption is rife but wants to show Kenyans that PLO is working and after some time, business as usual.

Unless we see Kibaki's and Raila's men behind bars for grand corruption, hi ingine ni porojo tu.

Now, you take the Kanjora to court, he says he has been assisting his constituents extend leases. What is wrong with that as far as it is valid? "Hiyo makaratasi ingine, KACA walitengeneza, otherwise, am a clean man and no one should determine how much I charge for assisting my people", he will say.

why not get the big fish first and fast to scare away the small fish?

Nobody wants to touch the charter house bank with a 1 foot pole. it is toxic. that's why treasury and cbk are pointing fingers at each other

@Surealligator and @mwatha. Thanks for the link.

What a foolish fellow, incriminating himself before the cameras in the name of bravado. But I guess he thinks he can bribe his way out of the fix?
