Can you unlock AC2726 orange modem? have done alot of theatrics on the web without much success. I already have the CDMA workshop but reading the SPC is a problem...



if you can get the procedure for Huawei EC325,(Its using a yellow Telkom wireless RUIM card) i would appreciate too.

I tried all the 4 networks with my new unlocked modem.

Safaricom -is like a fuel guzzler .My 120 shillings credit went just like that in about 25 minutes browsing of Wazua site.Speeds very good though Im not a IT person.

Yu -10 shillings credit went within 10 minute somehow slow connections.

Zain spent 2 shillings but the speeds were intolerable.


Orange -I was unable to connect directly by just slipping in the sim card . I had recharged Kshs 100/= .Does one have to by bundles unlike other nextworks where credit in you line is enough to get you connected? someone please?

As you can see , with the excitement of the new modem , I'm spending an arm and leg on browsing.

Please advise how to cut internet browsing expenditure using a modem .as you can see I am open ended and I will go for any mobile provider with affordable and reliable internet .

Am not sure whether u need to buy a bundle or not, but just incase you decide to buy, here are the steps..

How to buy bundles:
send sms #123#bundle size to 430
for example :
to buy 50MB bundle size
send the sms #123#50 to 430

NB: with 150bob you can buy 100MB.

Actually safcom sells 2GB bundle at Kshs 3999 but they give you a free modem. So if he got these 2GB with a Modem then he got to save 1999 bob. Hence u are the one who got a raw deal!
