I'm also concerned that in all the hype to pursue signs and wonders, people have fallen to what is taught against in 1 Timothy 4:1.
'The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.'
There are many pastors, especially televangelists, who pupport to talk to demons,as they cast them out. These demons then reveal to them information (which is not in the Bible). They then go out and write a book about what the demons told them, and this is taken as divine authority. Just because Jesus talked to demons does not mean you do so! Infact,he used to tell them to be quiet!
Where else have people learnt about the demon in charge of the oceans, etc etc? No wonder the Bible says that in that day many will say to Him Lord Lord, have we not performed miracles in your name? They will be told 'depart from me,I never knew you,you workers of iniquity'.
