Brazil seems to be doing great things!! What was the deal they signed with Kenya when their president visited Kenya (was it this year)?

This is news I would ordinarily be happy to read. Only thing is that there are real families behind the slow economic death. But the next 10-20 years will be crucial for the US. Guess the capitalism that drove the country to its superpower status might be the same thing that leads to its spectacular implosion. US-born corporations can't stomach paying an American $100K p.a. when they can pay an Indian $10K p.a. to do the virtually the same job.

It so happens that the US is also deep in debt. It is currently running massive trade and budget deficits which are financed through borrowing. Some of the borrowing is from its competitors like the Chinese who have a massive trade surplus and a healthy budget surplus.

Owing to concerns about the financial health of the US gava, there has been talk about the setting up of a new currency to rival the dollar. There has also been fears that China and Japan may start selling off their huge dollar denominated asset holdings and thereby force the US economy into severe recession. All this points to one fact, the US is declining and will continue to decline in the foreseeable future

The decline of US is almost sealed. It's not a matter of if but when. With a massive debt of over USD 12 Trillion, they aren't coming out soon. The dollar will soon be forsaken for some new currency. Ultimately, EU will become the major player in global scene.
