905,000+ shares traded... 400,000 demand at 10/- on the Board
Supply at 10/- is ZERO... (none at 10.30 either)

That wud be cheap! I think KK must have covered their bases... I doubt they capitulated to nyoike completely.

If the lawsuits are still on then we have a chance of striking it HUGE...

Other than the woes that KK has been having with the KPRL/KPC/MoE, KK remains a fundamentally sound business with great prospects. Would I buy more shares at 10.35? Like hell I would! It remains cheap.

Remember - prior to the shenanigans we had been projecting a price of Kshs 15. If we assume that KK has paid off the 600 m to KPRL - That still leaves them with some of their profits from H1 and there's more to come from H2.

I also wanted the low levels remain at least to the end of year so i could buy more. The pump prices told me KK was still making money even when possibly buying from the other marketers.I will take what i have,at less than 11,i will still buy and hold for April 2011.

So what? The way I see it... next time MoE will stay off their case!

And the sales volumes are up in Kenya... KPRL can only process 1.6mn MT (please correct me if I am mistaken)... So KK has the chance to go back to importing a decent share of the 'additional' 1.6mn MTs...

"We further wish to announce that the company has signed the new Transportation and Storage Agreement with the Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC), but without Prejudice to pending Civil and/or Arbitration matters against the Pipeline.

[quote=mwanahisa]We are being robbed of our big payday - Kshs 4.6 B. I will definitely want to hear this from Mr. Segman.

Meanwhile I am holding out hope from the statement to the effect

"Though Nyoike could not divulge details under what terms the standoff with KenolKobil was resolved, he said the oil marketer has signed a new contract with KPC and the Kenya Petroleum Refinery Limited (KPRL) that will allow it to start importation of oil products for the local market.

Maybe he was@wazuans- SOMEONE could nt reveal details. I wonder y. Maybe am the only one smelin a rat around. Is it posible that some elements somewher could hav caused the drop in share value, buy a bulk ,wait 4 some one to two months, settle dispute, fail to reveal ALL the details, gain sh1.50 per share. Sel n run faster than bolt only to stop n share with the few at the high table. Let me hope am dreamin,bt ofcos u al knw that i mis this bus.

@X13United has a good point... I am glad I refused to sell but managed to buy some more...

I vote for Segman & Co to continue with the lawsuits against KPRL & KPC... I want my payday!
