The ipad is over rated just like the iphone 4. No flash, no camera, no usb. And you buy it 4 such a price? Ha! Wacha nikae tu na pro yangu. My thoughts.

Then do not buy it.... simple...

Dear Wazuarians/Guests

Thanks to everyone who has expressed his/her interest in purchasing the 32 GB Apple Ipad. I would like to bring to you the latest developments on the concerned product. MTC Namibia the sole stockist of the Ipad in Africa have said that the 32GB,Wifi Apple Ipad is only exclusive to MTC Namibia subscribers and their comes with a data package of 600MB for Ksh 4000 per month but due to the demand they have received from other countries they will avail cash only 32GB Wifi Apple Ipads that can work with your Safaricom/Zain line. They told me it my retail for Ksh 152000.

@the deal, veteran comrade, don't mean to be a party pooper but FoneXpress currently retailing it in Kenya at Westgate Mall at 95,000.

FoneXpress are the guys who have those phone outlets in Nakumatts. Interesting business considering they started from one outlet at Yaya Centre.

Aaah Bana, they have it all 32GB + wifi + 3G, and sold over 10 since their newspaper advert.
All iPads come with a microphone/headphone jack I think, so iCall is just downloading and installing from iTunes.

In fact, the first place I saw it was in Yaya, PC World, who had 64GB retailing for about 110k. All finished but they ordered more from Dubai.

Hmmmn @the deal, good stuff, at least you know what the competition is charging before you pass Customs.

Safaricom have few micro-sims in the country, I hear. But there is a process of cutting up the normal sim to make a micro-sim which the guys seem to have perfected.
