Hi,

For a long time I have found it difficult to appreciate or justify the 8 lane highway to Thika and the single mindedness with which the bypasses are taking shape.

Today I got my answer, http://www.tatucity.com, Nairobi City as we now it is about to change it is time for us to rethink our investment strategies.

If the fellows in the County housing the Malili ICT Park do not get their act together very, very quickly it will end up in Thika.

Nairobi is CBD is getting bypassed with the construction of the various bypasses, for those who follow the property market you will now appreciate why the Nyakenwa, Nyandarua & the ilk are selling off their properties on River Road, Kirinyaga Road and Ngara areas.

If the TatuCity project kicks off then those flats in Kileleshwa and Riara will drop in price so fast that the USA subprime crisis will seem like a cocktail party.

Regards

Sounds like a way to trigger speculation on land prices near Ruiru/KU....as has happened with Malili and plots along Thika Road....

Why would a developer divulge a plan that can be easily imitated South West or North West of Nairobi?

Hmmm...

Eich this is to good to be true. and it seems the focus is not the small investors.
The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts while the stupid ones are full of confidence

I had heard about this plan by Russians (Rennaissance) over 6 months ago but i thought it was a joke. And i did not know it will be of this magnitude.
Hope it will be real and completed by 2013 as promised
