I will continue buying KK and another industrial counter. At current prices it will give the 40% or more by April 2011.I believe in the company and you got to give it to the management that KK outlets are still up and running two months after KPRL ceased processing their crude ,and look at the pump prices(not limited to KK),they are still making money!.I feel the other big players are backing KK.That said KCB also looks good.
I am looking for 30% in 1 year... Even with my 'pricier' KK @ 10.50... I am confident I will make my 30% in 12 months...

I am willing to wait 3 years for 100% on KK (30% compounded...

@shauriyako. Thats a very big understatement. Technically speaking frm 19.00 to 24.00 resistance is a 40% return. There's no other resistance btwn that price range.
KCB all the way ...

Tech..must be very complex. In the real world that is a 26% return, and 22% if you factor in the commissions.

At this point in time we should be looking at the worst case scenario. What is the contribution of other subsidiary outlets outside Kenya to KK's bottomline? If they make more than 70% then I will buy KK at current price, else I will wait till the noise cools

Kenya contributes 60% to their total revenue so there is a HUGE risk...

That said below 8bob will be looking too good to ignore and get in.....

I wish to point out that the 'quote' is being misused. Perhaps we can have a situation where quoting is limited to a single post not a cascade of postings. Left unchecked we may get to a situation where it makes the whole thing a big joke.

@pk 3 huge stocks like saf, mumias, kk making less than 15% of your portifolio, aren't you spreading yourself too thin?

nyoike cant even sort out issues at KPC or KPRL and now wants to build a Nuclear Plant by 2017? I say nonsense!

There is design, then bidding, review then contract awarded...

In the meantime we are almost done with 2010... the elections in 2012...

Countries are demonstrating about extension of nuclear power while we want to commence the process. There is still nuclear waste. It is not really 'clean' energy. Wind and solar are better alternatives. These resources are unlimited.

Even exporters being screwed up by lousy KPA http://www.nation.co.ke/.../-/12cgpax/-/index.html

We will lose the few export markets to China or India for clothes made in Kenya if Kenyan firms cant deliver on time the 'seasonal' fashions...

Currently I just limit myself to a maximum of 4 stocks. I then make sure that I monitor them to the maximum. If I was an institution, I would perhaps increase the number.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.
