i am a great safaricom fan but i will not like wazuan to be misled. safaricom's network is actually 2.5G and not 3G as we say (appproximation)
the £G network is just in Nairobi and partly mombasa and kisumu. you leave nrb and on the way past Lari you go back to the slow speeds.
let us argue knowledgebly. it's not worth launching the so caled 4G

I don't think anyone has ever gotten to even 5Mbps with Safcom or any other network's modem.Or if you have....please let us know how so that we migrate. Talking about 4G is way way way ahead of its time.Kwani what do you people download that you want to download at speeds greater than 7.2Mbps anyway?....hata kama ni BBRip...!

Those speeds are for online gamers...s.korea,japan has 10 times that!...the problem with 3g is latency, cable ndio mambo yote.
The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.

Like all wireless networks, speeds are reduced when there's an increased number of people connected to the same access point (or in this case, base station). If there is sufficient wireless 'bandwidth' between the end user's laptop or phone and the base station, one would probably get much closer to the touted speeds.. but in our case..
