yeah, remember the sham that was their last 'free' internet offer? Speeds were at bytes per second.

I am also frustrated, I thought the 300mb bundle will last me a month, but it looks it will just be a weekend. what is the offer? I do not understand? are these guys conning us?

Long live Safaricom unlimited offer. I loaded 999/=
I have done about 565Mb(upload+download) in 1.5 hours. Funny enough, was sent a warning text about exceeding fair usage but my speeds were still above 1Mbps but after some time dropped to about 400 kbps(i'm using an unlocked Zain modem which is in kbps not Kbps)
Through this offer, i'm going to recoup all the "unjustified" money Safaricom has earned from me.
If you are into torrents, then this is a great offer. I'm leaving my machine on and by morning, i'd have done over a 1 GB.
May the offer last, so brothers and sisters, as you pray for the share price, pray also that the offer lasts.
Lord graciously hear us.

Let us wait and hear from those who have taken up the offer. I bet they will not complain. Without any bias, SAFARICOM internet is always the best speed-wise.

i have already exhausted my 300MB in two days and this is the message i have received :YOU HAVE EXCEEDED YOUR FAIR USE AND YOUR BANDWIDTH WILL BE THROTTLED.
am still browsing kawaida and my bundle expires on 17th oct.
it makes no difference in speed if you are not 3G covered.
so for me this service is fine.

@koli
there is no difference in speed althugh it depends on the congestion@the base station.
sometimes i get download speeds of 19 kbps and as low as 7kbps.
