Maich,
For me Dec might not be possible......Something standing on my way and i also have a date with Kilimanjaro after X-mas though i am yet to confirm.......... why Sasha and i?

As I said, for some funny reason, I really want to come back and you and Sasha are the ones who seem to know this area best. I know some people here who might tell us "I know a shortcut..." and we find ourselves in Chad. You can imagine being mistaken for mercenaries and ending up in a Chadian jail. Our hope of ever seeing freedom? One Wetangula - which means we would be finished!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

@Njung'e: Absolutely! I have been postponing this road trip for the last 2 years. If that road is passable then it is better. The Laare route is very dangerous as it passes through homesteads and right next to some veve shambas! Plus after Laare, it is basically a wilderness until you approach Garbatulla! And chances are we may be the only travellers on the road!

@Maich: The more the merrier!

@Njung'e: I'm looking at late November to mid December. Though I plan to be free during this period, I have a big proviso that this will only happen if I am actually free!

OK, I too want to join the Guka/Sasha plan...pls guys start a new thread or should we take this offline to email to avoid unnecessary distractions?

If December is out, next best time would either be Easter or during April...
