@qw... The 800 houses is just the beginning and yet they are receiving 650 million worth of interest income....

Since the stock wants to remain flat I'll continue buying...

@the deal... I think you must be quoted calling KCB a value trap

KCB is financing the ksh 4B Marina project in Mombasa. They will also finance the ksh 40M/apartment mortgages when they are complete. That's bottom line growth and very good use of the ksh 12B rights cash. @guru maybe you are not such a big a**e after all.

@guru, I hope you haven't mistaken my comment. I was merely responding to what I thought was a disparaging comment by qw.

@qw... If there wasn't profit taking on KCB it would have rallied on the NHC story.... I mean just from one deal they are making 600million profits...

And the rwanda subsidiary story is not new... Its been making losses since it opened....

So i really don't appreciate your insults because i'm making the money and your not...

Its a startup, and thus bound to make losses. All new business take time to break even. Equity is making crazy losses in Uganda. KCB expects to break even from the third year. Furthermore, the loss is only Ksh. 10 million

A loss of 10M is just too insignificat for KCB. It is only 5times what KCB had to pay for a certain magistrate who got embarrased when his card was rejected at point of sale.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.
