...Dont be that pessimistic. Have some hope brother. If I shared my story with you you would be surprised. Having been born and bred in perpetual poverty, I never would imagine I could ever own anything. I used to think being seen around Lavington or Kileleshwa I would be arrested and charged with trespassing. But, hey man, tell you what? GOD works in mysterious ways! Keep hope alive. Maybe it is not you who get yourself out of your present condition, but either your son or daughter... Look at our athletes who are moving from one city to another every weekend collecting real dollars...

I agree with sukums. We are likely to analyse money based on the magnitude of our problems. If the amount is greater or equal to our problems, we havd many ideas on how that money should have been spent.A friend of mine was shocked when he heard that a bwoman was spending 10m 4 gdwil 4 a smal cafe in town.To him, that was enough to build flats! But the bizwoman's problems r much bigger than the 10m, thus she can afford to invest in a venture that appears less lucrative

...where were you when people were making money. I went to Rift Valley (this place where the katiba discussions were being held) People (real Kenyans!!!) have bought houses in there which they use only once a year on not use them at all....

These houses (in RV Lodge) are business venture. They are rented out during the year and thus the owners make their money!

I see absolutely nothing wrong in theresmile ,perhaps most of you shida imewakumba sana between have you ever thought how a Kibera resident thinks of 'you' when you walk in to Antonio's and squander Kshs 150 for chicken and chips at lunchtime alone instead of chapati mandondo for Kshs 15?

I agree. It's a world of relativity. As one wazuan puts it 'we desire equality for those who are better than us and not those who are less than us'....

Ata Atwoli yuko na moja.

@vinii, so you will ask the tenant (most probably a teacher) to move out for that one month?
