looks like they are finally selling the houses in embakasi for between 3.85m to 6m...check their website or standard newspaper. they sell via TPS. initial deposit is 10%. you deal directly with NSSF so no need to go organise financing. sio mbaya...quite spacious and an ideal first home....price list 3 Bedroom Apartment - 3.85Million. 3 Bedroom Maisonette - 4.80Million. 3 Bedroom Corner Maisonette - 5.10Million. 3 Bedroom Duka Maisonette - 6.00Million. www.nssfkenya.com

A good deal but they havent constructed the houses.

Doors of opportunity don't just open , they have to be unlocked & it's up to you to turn the knob.

Not a bad deal. I am expecting the usual Kenyan stampede for all things nice...

Anyone with word on the (expected) outcome of this process yet? When applying, was informed that they were looking at announcing allocation Late-November.

Interesting how long GoK-related transactions take. I have already passed this over as something whose benefits will only be realized (if ever) by my grand-kids. Just like Safcon shares...

The allocation has never been communicaated. the exepected occupation period was from June this year. I understand that some of the houses are complete.

Can we suggest some action points to NSSF board.

Kenyan are eager to own a hse in Nyayo EState, the applicants were way in excess of the houses. They should let Kenya pay deposits and commit to finalising the houses. Why take 2years for finalise 600 units, the over 5,000 units will take ages!
