Don't confuse technology for content. The use of technology is not the issue, but the use into which it is put. For all those insulting me, would you not like Kenya to become like South Korea, a small, well run, successful economy that embraces itself in full? Is this such a bad vision? Is this communism?
I assure you Korean tv shows Korean programs. Korean shops sell Korean made stuff and so on. Koreans have a jingoistic view of themselves. Are taught in Korean which they claim is the most beatiful language.
The alternative is a loser nation like the Phillipines. Filipinos run after all things foreign which to them, have more prestige than their own stuff, they have lost the use of their personal names, use english, manufacture nothing, have a serious case of self loathing and self rejection and are the only nation in their region left behind. Do you see any parallels to Kenya.
Of all the responses, have you noticed that the ones who have the title 'elder' happen to be the most intellectually bankrupt having nothing productive to add. It fully justifies my continuing contempt. We must get rid of these old people from our national life.
