Whynow....possibly, however, adept spent 500m in restructuring. That's one thing I hate about diageo managers. Whenever a new md comes in, he restructures and spends sh*toads of cash, and from mahindas restructuring, the company isn't necessarily more efficient

EABL is a consistent performer... Hopefully, Uganda picks up from the poor sales last year...

Let us hope they also grow the Tz market and Southern Sudan is not left completely to SABMiller

I did notice that admin expenses went up by 26% I hope mgt not using extra cash to pay higher salaries rather than grow business. current price too high given an eps of 9 bob and dim prospects of double digit growth.

Looks like restructuring is underway; the costs really needed some reigning in.

Is this 419 naija saying they are no Kenyans that can be directors at eabl? And why do we get non-Kenyans being CEOs of Kenyan-centric firms?

I think the firm is international (East African, at least), and not just Kenyan. The Kenyan arm used to be called KBL.

Hire the BEST... Firms like EABL's parent rotate managers. In Ghana there are many Kenyans working for multi-nationals like Unilever...

And don't forget Mahinda was sent to South Africa...

So @kaffir don't be overly petty...
