I understand that Mumias Sugar will be releasing results tomorrow afternoon after the market closes. Note they normally release results on the last Friday of August but due to the Promulgation they have brought the date earlier. "Estimated" EPS corresponds with Njunge's earlier post of roughly Kshs 1.1 with a DPS reportedly at Kshs 0.60. I CAN'T SWEAR as to the veracity of my sources although they are normally reliable. With such an EPS (if it turns out to be correct), I would bet on the company maintaining the DPS at last year's level of Kshs 0.40. Anyhow, we shall know tomorrow!

Guys relax.... It looks like safcoms fall is sending panic all over the market.... Mumias will perform fairly and see PLENTY of support at 13bob.. This is because the dividend yield will be around 4.5% and a p/e of 12... Higher than most counters and government paper on the NSE Mark 12:29
