Wazuans.....there was once a very popular and busy photo studio opposite nation centre in nairobi along the street which is directly infront of the Macmillan Library.... they moved... does anyone know they relocated to or their website, telephone contacts etc?

I seriously need to print some digital photos for my palls back home and I havent found a better and cheaper studion in tao...they are too expensive actually some are asking for between kshs 15 to kshs 30 per photos size 4 by 6.

I reckon you are referring to a studio called HIVE. I am not sure about their charges for digital prints. 15-30 to me sounds reasonable. What I know is that HIVE have very low chgs for passport photos - 12 pcs for Kshs 150. Anyhow, they are now on Moi Avenue somewhere near where the Reliable Brokers/Suntra offices used to be.

Kuna walalo wengine in that same building (that old one between Macmillan and Nation Centre, upande wa Macmillan) on ground floor.
They also do passports photos. Go to them with a flash disk and they will print very well, and very cheap. 4 pp photos for instance is ksh 50.

Good subject since we have gone digital, i believe those prices should be below 10bob, currently a studio at Tuskys Thika charges 15bob for a 4*6. This is a business opportunity for someone able to charge 10 and below since there is a huge market. Any one with a better price in Nairobi - just took photos in a wedding and i have 516 photos with 350 i would like printed.

@mwanahisa..yes, i meant HIVE. I used to print digital photos there size 4 by 6 at 7 bob per photo. Thereafter I took long to go back and I found them missing and the guys there had no idea where they moved to. Please confirm the location on the Moi Avenue, I have no Idea where Suntra or the reliable used to be apart from nation centre. I seriously need to print these pictures, they are many and any price below kshs 10/= per piece is very welcome.

Passport photos are priced the same in all studios in Nairobi, I believe,so that is not a problem at all.

I suspect you are talking of Galaxy, right opposite Malindi Dishes. Had the best prices for processing and printing when I was a camera buff (digital photography AKA mobile phones killed my passion)
