..can we get back to discussing stocks other than Mumias sugar woes and safaricom's Jinyambie Tariff??

..and probably LISTED stocks n not likes of Zain nor telcom.. please?

You can not divorce the happenings around a company when discussing a stock.

@cnn....i agree. There are alot of issues that affect a company and its performance and these issues have to be discussed because they affect the shareholders(us). Its worse in other markets, believe me. Even an employee getting fired at wallmart for the wrong reason makes the news.

If CCK had implemented the "Fair competition" regulations, SCOM would have had to give a 60-day notice before making its move in response to Zains price cut. By that time, Zain would have accumulated enough customers to be considered a "dominant" player and if SCOM's prices are not objected, Zain would also have to wait another 60 days before reacting.....

In the meantime, SCOM's share price would have touched Sh1.50...and I would be buying like crazy...
Is that relevant enough?
