..their's is a one month offer.. sad.. Sad

anyway how much of revenue is based on calls/texts?
if this two are hugely dented..can the revenues from data n mkesho cover up?

Did accountants come up with this OFFER? And only for Prepaid? You have to tabulate for it to make sense.

For 2/= Safaricom and 3/= Offnet calls........1000/500/250 top-up
For 2/= Safaricom and 3/= Offnet calls........100 top-up
For 3/= Safaricom and 3/= Offnet calls........50 top-up
For 4/= Safaricom and 5/= Offnet calls........20 top-up
For 5/= Safaricom and 5/= Offnet calls........10/5 top-up

i think the offer is a "fire-fighting technique" to ensure that customers dont migrate to zain. Safcom are waiting for orange to release its offer before they retaliate.

The price discrimination strategy is clearly off. Very many young pple...those in College and high school..top up lower denomintations, my question is why would i top up 20/= safcom credit and call at 4/= while i can top up the same and call at 3/= in zain network.
And the offer is for a month..ish!!!
By the way what happens when you okoa or someone sambazas for you.

Safaricom has responded to Zain's move by introducing "Masaa ya Kubamba" charges: 2 bob safaricom to safaricom an 3 bob to other networks, however you need to load 100 bob airtime to enjoy.

Question: Is it an offer or is it permanent? Someone please clarify. d'oh!
