lets wait and see, the weak hearted investors may yet capitulate and drive the share further down.

@sparkly i thought u had access to the order book ,with bids and asks . What i am saying is that the rights issue shares have already been factored in and the stock has held under emence supply. So NO ,the stock willnt slip any future .
So buy what you cn buy cheaply coz the stock is headed higher but at a slow pace .

Its early to conclude but reports indicated that most retail investors who are speculative in nature shyed away, meaning a good bunch could have been taked by long term investors though as i said its too early to celebrate.

The rights issue shares were priced at 17bob so that means if an investor wanted to break even he can only sell at 18.10bob meaning this counter has plenty of support at these levels and this serves as a GREAT entry point...

i told you before & i repeat again KCB will go up to 24 before March 2011. This is write time to buy KCB. Below 19 is a entry point.

@qw am talking investor psychology. Some bought rights simply because they feared dilution. You are expecting the share to jump to 24 in six months. Others expecting to reach that in 3 months. Unfortunately the market respects no one's wishes. The share might trade horizontally around current prices for more than 6 months. If that happens then people will be frustrated, start selling, push down prices some more...

@sparkly its kind of hard for KCB to trade horizontally below 20bob... Because at this price it stays the most attractive bank on the NSE which won't last very long

This stock CANNOT trade horizontally. Its too oversold so that aspect of it has to be corrected fast . What i am saying in layman's language is that its headed higher inthe commin days and months.thats what the charts are showing. I envy those who bought @ 17.00 . U must be having a very gud fore sight .

With equities anything is posible, when i bought kcb rights at 25bob i was on the defensive side but when hell broke loose i kept quiet as if i never talked defensively.

I bought loads of KCB at 25/-... then got my arse handed to me... So I kept off this time... And put cash in other counters...

KCB always has a huge scam every 1-2 years...

@vvs the management have promised to double their assets and lower their cost to income ratio to 50% in three to five years.... Lets see How that affects their profit... And if they don't we'll kick M.O.O out...
