I am so disappointed with the level of officiating in the kenyan premier league matches.
@Njunge can we appoint you as head of training the ref so that we enjoy our beatiful game minus controversy.
Case study was yesterday's game Gor against Ulinzi the match officials were totally biased.
We need help with these any stakeholders in Kenyan football pass our message we want better trained match officials

@Dossy7,
I watched the entire game and i concur there were disgusting decisions.Just before half time,Blackberry chested a through pass well inside Mulinge.The lad was obviously not off-side and maybe the ref let a half chance away.....This raises clear questions about officiating and it is upon the the kenyan referees body to take initiatives in training their members.

That said,the cheering especially from K'ogallo side was fantastic bar for some cordoned incidences inside the pitch by players,Gor TM,Zedekiah and stone throwing from certain known quarters.It's time to shed this bad image for the good of the game.

Finally, i must say i have no experience officiating football and if i did ,i can't promise you that we will have any railway line left thereafter...lol.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

@Dossy7 and Njunge
I concur with you two. Am a former player so i have experienced it first hand. The referees are pathetic! The situation was/is worse out of Nairobi. In one match in Thika my Nairobi based club put the ball in opponents net 6 times but none was allowed! ooh offside, ooh handball, ooh sijui! It was laughable, the guy made sure we played out a barren draw in a match we were outright winners. they even tell you ati "mcheza kwao hutunzwa!!" Nakumbuka how Bobby Ogola, my coach then, got numerous red cards for his complaints and anger " f..k you!!" he used to shout.
Then there were "timu ya ofisi" a term refering to a kff favoured team that had to "win" at all costs. Nakuru was another hotspot, mnapokea red cards kibao for minor offences, crazy refs. The organizers need to raise the refs level by training and better pay.

Most of the refs are old and past official age are not physically fit, Compared to players who are young and fast so the refs have a problem keeping up with the tempo of the game and the position of the ball.
The refs are also poorly enumerated hence they are an easy target as far as compromise is concerned.
Your work will form a large part of your life the only way to be trully satisfied is to love what you do.
